Shpooren zoohe was a project carried out by students of the University of Sydney’s German Department. The brand [Shpooren#zoohe] is derived from the phonetic spelling of the German word “Spurensuche”. It literally means “searching for traces”.
Shpooren Zoohe invites you to explore German Traces in Sydney as an urban walkabout. Ten spots will be visited where German culture can be rediscovered as part of Australias every-day life:
- Tour “German Traces in Sydney” (spot 1-10, ca. 2 hours)
- Short tour “Business and Technology” (spot 1-5, ca. 1 hour)
- Short tour “Culture and History” (spot 6-10, ca. 1 hour)
